It’s a shame that more people don’t appreciate the fledging promotion that is Bellator. When they hosted a show here in Dallas a few months back, only the most diehard MMA fan showed up. While Bellator lacks the exposure of a UFC, WEC, or Strikeforce, they do bring some interesting fights and fighters to the forefront. Best of all, the fights are aired live on Fox Sports Net.
Tonight starts the first of card of the Bellator 12 card third season and features a headlining bout between Bellator middleweight champion Hector Lombard and Herbert Goodman. If you haven’t checked out a Bellator card I strongly suggest you do. Hell, if anything, you have to admire the balls of a promotional company that dares to engage the UFC in litigation.
