It’s summer time, and with the hot weather comes the ever important need to keep your ride in its cleanest state possible. After all, how can one reasonably floss to your peers if your ride looks like it drive through a dust storm? So if your ride is like mine, dirty to the point of embarrassment, do yourself a sold and head out to Garland for the Texas Select Boxing Club car wash fundraiser.
Those of you in the know regarding the North Texas amateur boxing scene are no doubt familiar with Garland-based Texas Select and the undeniable spirit and comradely that their boxers exhibit. But, like all things in like funding of this safe haven of the youth takes time, and more importantly, money. As the prestigious Ringside World Champions tournament looms, so does the need for additional funds to finance the trip to Kansas City. So, do yourself a favor, get your ride cleaned up and support a worthwhile cause.
