Oak Cliff's Robert Marroquin (13-0, 10 KOs) will return to the ring this Saturday on the Top Rank show taking place in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. Marroquin will face Mexican journeyman Arturo Camargo (22-14-2, 19 KOs) who has fought solely in Mexico. Marroquin is coming off a breakout performance over Sammy Sanchez on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey fight that took place this past March at Cowboys Stadium.
I don't expect Marroquin to lose this fight as Camargo has been defeated every time he has stepped his competition up. The beauty of this fight lies in the exposure Marroquin will enjoy with the passionate Mexican fan base. One would expect that following this fight, Marroquin's handlers may begin to look at a minor title fight.
