It’s quickly becoming apparent that Fort Worth based North Texas Ultimate Fighting is a promotion on the rise. Having staged a successful inaugural promotion this past August in Alvarado, NTUF is setting their sites on taking the DFW Metroplex by storm.
This Saturday night at The Gym in Arlington, NTUF will host their second amateur mixed martial arts promotion aptly entitled, “Annihilation.” With 15 bouts scheduled for the night, fight fans will be treated to a bevy of action-packed fights. Such is NTUF’s creed, to provide fans the most entertaining bouts. All of which is why it should come as no surprise that Alex Madrid, co-owner of the promotion, meticulous puts together each fight on their cards. The science paid dividends this past August as fans in attendance were treated to barn-burner after barn burner, much to their giddy delight.
While the sleepy suburb of Alvarado came out to support the first MMA promotion to hit their fair burg, NTUF’s decision to host their second event in Arlington should draw from a considerably larger pool of fight fans. Simply put, if you’re an MMA fan living in North Texas, don’t you owe it to yourself to come out and support local fighters and promoters?
